Edward Trotter Cutler is Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of ENVISIONWORKS, Inc. A talented photographer, creative and artistic director, he has vast experience in elevating the profile and increasing the value of boutique hotels and luxury lifestyle environments including villas and estates.
Edward has over 35 years of direct involvement with commercial, fashion and lifestyle production. He works with global luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Porsche, Ferretti Yachts, CRN Yacht, Inspirato, BMW, Bertram Yachts, The Bentley Group and several Leading Hotels of the World and Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties.
Edward’s artistic direction and photography have been featured in The New York Times, the Washington Post, Tatler, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Forbes and Departures Magazine.
In addition, ENVISIONWORKS is responsible for the current branding imagery of CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, Anguilla; Punta Cana International Airport, The Dunmore in Harbour Island, Bahamas; Oscar de la Renta-designed Tortuga Bay in the Caribbean; The Estates at Puntacana Resort & Club in the Dominican Republic; and Inspirato residences located in the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, The Setai South Beach and Rosemary Beach, Florida.
A recognized marketing and branding expert specializing in the luxury hospitality and lifestyle industries, Michael creates bold and effective brand awareness strategies and campaigns for independently owned boutique hotels, resort destinations and luxury lifestyle environments.
Michael’s expertise is reflected in iconic resort destinations in South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond. As Chief Marketing Officer of ENVISIONWORKS, he drives all of the firm’s business development efforts.
Michael’s role also involves spearheading rebranding and repositioning initiatives for leading organizations. This includes serving as Executive Director Marketing & Sales of Carlisle Bay, Antigua, and as Vice President of Marketing at The Biltmore, a National Historic Landmark and member of Leading Hotels of the World located in Coral Gables, Florida.
Previously, as Executive Director of Marketing & Sales at The Puntacana Group in the Dominican Republic, Michael directed the marketing and branding efforts showcasing Tortuga Bay, an Oscar de la Renta-designed hotel, which is a member of Leading Hotels of the World, helping the property achieve a AAA Five Diamond Award. As Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales for The Bentley Group in Miami’s South Beach, he branded and launched a portfolio of ultra-luxury condominiums and boutique hotels that appear in the directory of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. He also served as Director of Marketing & Sales at The Shore Club and Director of Sales at Ian Schrager’s Delano.
